About the work
This sculpture is inspired by the analogy between the shape of a women's body and that of a pear celebrating the beauty of a pregnant woman's figure. It represents both femininity and fertility and illustrates the ideal of the feminine beauty.
The statue is made of solid bronze and is very heavy for its size, about 4.5 kg.
